4 slices of bread wither whole grain, rye or pumpernickel
1/2 lbs roasted or smoked turkey breast sliced for sandwiches
2-4 slices low fat Swiss or other white cheese
2-4 T low fat thousand island dressing or spicy mustard
1/4-1/3 cup sauerkraut rinsed and well drained (squeeze it a little to get all the water out)
Cooking spray
Optional
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
4 pickle slices if using spicy mustard instead of thousand island dressing
Spread one side of each bread slice with dressing or spicy mustard. Then add turkey, sauerkraut, caraway if using, cheese and pickle if using. Grill the sandwich in a flat pan over medium heat or use a grill press. When the bread is golden brown and the cheese it melted you're ready to go.

Guys, you can eat beef and still lose weight but you have to choose your beef wisely. This is a great recipe for cooking a low fat steak and packing plenty of flavor into it. |
